Poem 30 – Tautology
Tautology
Yes, I know it’s an ugly word
But so is the thing.
The smallest glowered doubt
Unpalatable expression:
Do you want me, truly?
We buy a book of propaganda
By betrayal, I mean the waterfall
Surely we are pigeons.
Cruel and unusual
In the same way that
Proportionality was only an aspect
Being struck by lightning—
Brave behave step overhead and saw the stair.
